Psalm 51:10

As we seek to pray for the most important things first this scripture suggests that we ask for a “heart cleaning.” Invite Jesus to come into your heart and cleanse you of everything that doesn’t suit Him. It’s time to get rid of all the baggage we’ve been carrying. Time to let go of resentments, shame, offenses and guilt. Now — imagine going on interviews or selling your services knowing that God is with you and that everything about you is aligned with His will and purpose. That’s how we’ll get a steadfast spirit and the strength to make it through this journey and into the promised land.

DECLARE THIS:
• I know that God is working in me and I want to cooperate with everything He desires to do.
• My heart is open to the love of God and His healing.
• By faith I accept the cleansing, perfect work that Christ has already accomplished and look forward to its manifestation in my life.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.” Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life!
