This is such a beautiful picture — each believer finding his or her gifts, and bringing the best they’ve got into the Body of Christ. Then, as we all grow up together in faith and in love, we do the work of the Kingdom. When all the gifts are used together, when each
part does its work, then we will truly become the body of Christ as God designed it to be. There’s a key message here — gifts are not to be held for selfish purposes. Our gifts weren’t given just to prosper us; they were given to build up the whole body. Unemployed
or employed, what are we doing to use our gifts and do our part in the Church, the body of Christ?

DECLARE THIS:
• I am an essential part of the body of Christ and I am here to do my part.
• By faith I receive a revelation of my place in the body and I join my efforts with others for God’s glory.
• I am called to serve in the church. There’s an assignment there with my name on it.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.” Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life! How many hours have I spent in prayer that was most certainly manipulated by my flesh and not aligned with the Kingdom? Too many. Thanks- Toni
