We might be the only soldiers who carry our fortress with us into battle. We actually have a constant “hiding place” that the enemy cannot penetrate. We can fight until we’re weary, and then leave the battlefield and go into a fortress to be revived and strengthened! Whenever the going gets too tough it’s important to remember that we are hidden in Christ. When we retreat into Him the enemy cannot find us and cannot touch us. Wouldn’t it be a wise battle tactic to conduct our job search by day and retreat into the Word of God and the presence of the Lord by night?

DECLARE THIS:
• I am safe and I am protected. I abide in the Lord.
• By faith I receive the light I need to see my path and the strong arm of the Lord to deliver me from harm.
• Men cannot withhold my good from me. I have nothing to fear.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.” Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life!
