Chances are we won’t encounter too many snakes and scorpions in the employment office, but the point here is we’ve been given authority over ALL the power of the enemy. There’s nothing he can throw at us that we can’t crush. So how does that apply to the job search? No bad references will be able to injure your chances of employment. A lost or misplaced resume will not hold you back. No nasty recruiter or hiring freeze will be able to keep you out of the position God has for you. But this authority we’ve been given has no value if we don’t exercise it and release it effectively. We will only rise up in our authority if we study Jesus to see how He did it because it’s His power and authority that we’ve been given.

DECLARE THIS:
• I am not afraid because nothing can harm me.
• By faith I receive the power and authority of Jesus. It’s in His name and I have the right to use it.
• Because I am in Christ and He is in me, I walk in His authority on earth.
