Meet Barb

For years I was afraid to cry out to God because I feared what He might say. Then I learned that He could only treat me with love because He is completely and only Perfect Love. As I began to experience His faithfulness and great love for me, all my fears about Him melted away. That’s something every believer needs to comprehend. We have to stop thinking that it was God who made us unemployed, and that God doesn’t care about us. We have to believe what the Word tells us about the more excellent covenant we have in Christ. We can rejoice knowing that the God of perfect love will answer us personally every time we call out to Him. That’s where our strength and our boldness will be found.

DECLARE THIS:
• I know that God hears me when I cry out and He will always answer me.
• By faith I receive that God is good and loving. When He speaks to me it makes me confident and bold.
• I go into the job market in the Lord’s strength and powerful might.

I am not looking for a job but found the Devotional very helpful…and convicting!

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.”  Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life!  How many hours have I spent in prayer that was most certainly manipulated by my flesh and not aligned with the Kingdom?  Too many.
