When we know God’s plan for us surpasses anything we could ask, and then we’ll ask what He wants us to ask for and make our requests right out of the heart of the Spirit within us. As Joel Goldsmith said, “Once you learn to open yourself to God without a desire that is a specific will or wish or chore to be performed, but only that God’s will and God’s grace be done through you, then you will witness the miracle of prayer fulfilled.” The requirements for granted prayers are simple — a life in Christ and a heart filled with His love. Now that you know this, raise the level of your prayers. Tell God that you’re no longer going to ask Him to follow your lead or grant selfish wishes. That’s how miracles happen.

DECLARE THIS:
• I am willing to let my plans go and ask God to tell me what to ask for.
• I receive answers to all my questions and results whenever I pray when I ask according to the will of God.
• I trust that God is good and His will for me is better than my own.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.”  Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life!  How many hours have I spent in prayer that was most certainly manipulated by my flesh and not aligned with the Kingdom?  Too many.
