2 Chronicles 15:7

In 2 Peter 1:4-6 we read that our job is to “add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness.” We aren’t expected to achieve this on our own, but rather to yield to the Holy Spirit who will work these things in us as we listen and obey. This will take strength and courage, but it’s the sure path to our reward. This same chapter of Peter tells us that we can expect “exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the
divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” If we keep our focus on accomplishing our Kingdom assignment, the reward we will experience will surpass our greatest expectations.

DECLARE THIS:
• I will not quit. I’m in this job search for a promised Kingdom reward.
• By faith I receive the empowerment to grow spiritually and to become prosperous.
• I believe that my work will be rewarded by God if I obey His instructions.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.” Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life! How many hours have I spent in prayer that was most certainly manipulated by my flesh and not aligned with the Kingdom? Too many. Thanks- Toni
