It so easy to get wrapped up in the activities of our job search and to completely forget that Jesus has said to us, “If you love me, feed my sheep.” We need to see Jesus in everyone we meet. Remember that every person waiting in the unemployment line or sitting with you in the employment office is included in the flock that Jesus loves. We can offer an encouraging word, a friendly smile, and some form of assistance to show His love. We can bring a blessing wherever we go, and in so doing show our love for the Lord.

DECLARE THIS:
• I care for and love others because I love the Lord.
• By faith I sow my love to others and claim a harvest in my life.
• I lack nothing and look for opportunities to give to others.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.” Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life! How many hours have I spent in prayer that was most certainly manipulated by my flesh and not aligned with the Kingdom? Too many. Thanks- Toni
