The term perfection, as used here, means completeness and it comes via a path of endurance. I admit that this was never one of my favorite scriptures. I don’t like troubles and I have never been fond of practicing patience. But like it or not, patient endurance is an important characteristic for believers. The average job search is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Most job searches take months, and they really put faith to the test. But look at what happens as we walk this path — we reach a place of needing nothing. By the end of this experience, if we stay in faith and remained fixed and patient, we will have the full assurance that God really has everything covered and that we are secure!

DECLARE THIS:
• I accept this experience as a test of faith and opportunity for growth.
• By faith I believe that God will perfect me and make me complete in Him.
• In faith I release the joy within me and make the determination to endure with patience until I have the victory.

“A Kingdom response is only given to a Kingdom request.” Wow, Barb, I had to stop after I read that line and think about it…and squirm about it…and realized to my dismay how I have missed the boat in my prayer life! How many hours have I spent in prayer that was most certainly manipulated by my flesh and not aligned with the Kingdom? Too many. Thanks- Toni
