God is not focused on our past, our heritage, or our behaviors. What matters to God is whether we will allow Him to turn us into new creations. If we allow God to have His way, we’ll realize that we’ve been adopted by God and we are now royalty. We’ll feel securely grafted into the Vine of life with God’s very spirit ever-present in us. Can you see how this truth would change the way we behave in our everyday lives? How would you act in an interview with a prospective employer if you fully understood the work God has done in you? Let God renew your mind with his Word and allow His truth to transform you into the new creation He has in mind.

• I know that God does not judge me by my past behaviors. He sees me through the blood of Christ.
